Blue Mountain Lacrosse

Tryouts are open to any and all players from Pennsylvania, only the PA Keystone Games has a residency requirement for playing in their tournament.

Step 1: If you do not have an account login with Blue Mtn, you need to create an account first, then you log in and then proceed to Step 2.

Step 3:  How can I get my company or business on the Blue Mtn Yellow Pages?  Just sign your son up for Blue Mtn Lacrosse U13 Clinics and League, or the U13, U15, U19 tournament team(s) or sign yourself up for the Adult Men's League and send me your business logo and any information you want listed including a website link.

Definitions:

U13 PARTICIPANT AGE DEFINITION
Players may not be 13 years of age on or before December 31, 2010. Accordingly, players that turn 13 after December 31, 2010 are eligible.

U15 AGE DEFINITION
Players may not be 15 years of age on or before December 31, 2010. Accordingly, players that turn 15 after December 31, 2010 are eligible. Regardless of age, no player who has competed at the high school level is eligible to participate. 9th graders are not allowed to participate no matter what the situation.

U19 AGE DEFINITION
Players may not be 19 years of age on or before December 31, 2010. Accordingly, players that turn 19 after December 31, 2010 are eligible. Regardless of age, no player who has competed as a senior in hugh school or at the college level is eligible to participate with Blue Mountain's U19 team.  Players who do not age qualify for the U19 team are invited to play in our 18+ Adult Men's League.

1. We are instituting a tryout for the U13 Tournament team this year.  We will have one U13 Tournament team unless there is a definite need to expand to two separate, yet competitive U13 teams.

*We will also continue with our U13 Clinics and Pick Up League on Monday evenings.  There is no tryout for this level, just registration.

2. Tryouts for U13 and U15 are in early March in Lanco Fieldhouse on two different dates.  Players only need to attend one tryout date, but may come to both dates.

March 13 (Sunday): 

U15: 9:00am-10:15am, Field 2 and 3.  U15 players should arrive at 8:15-8:30am in order to confirm registration and sizing for your Blue Mtn uniform, shooting shirt, and t-shirts.

U13: 10:30am-11:30am, Field 2 and 3.  U13 players should arrive at 9:45am-10:00am in order to confirm registration and sizing for your Blue Mtn uniform, shooting shirt, and t-shirts.

March 19 (Saturday):

U15: 9:00am-10:15am, Field 2 and 3.  U15 players should arrive at 8:15-8:30am in order to confirm registration and sizing for your Blue Mtn uniform, shooting shirt, and t-shirts.

U13: 10:30am-11:30am, Field 2 and 3.  U13 players should arrive at 9:45am-10:00am in order to confirm registration and sizing for your Blue Mtn uniform, shooting shirt, and t-shirts.

3. U15 level will consist of 2 or 3 teams.  Two competitive U15 teams that we will use to then eventually pick the Keystone Teams for a Blue Mtn Lancaster and a Blue Mtn Berks Region team for the Keystone Games.  Players from any area in PA are eligible to play on any of these three U15 teams, however players must be a resident of Lancaster or Berks Co to compete for Blue Mtn during the Keystone Games.

The third U15 team will be a developmental squad that will still compete in tournaments, but at a U15 B or C level.  We have had in the past several U15 players who played at this level who worked their way up to the two stronger teams. 

4. U19 Tryouts are scheduled at Manheim Township HS fields I and J (located behind the HS building) on two separate Sundays April 3 and April 10 from 10:00am-12Noon.

Take Rt. 501 N or S depending on what direction you are coming from, take Rt. 772 East Oregon Pike 0.3 miles, turn right, follow entrance road to the end into a parking lot right in front of the Fields I and J.

*U19 players should arrive at 9:15am-9:30am in order to confirm registration and sizing for your Blue Mtn uniform, shooting shirt, and t-shirts.

*Players only need to attend one tryout date, but may come to both dates.   We will have three teams at this level...a U19 Premier, Elite and Select team distinguishing the levels of play and competing in tournaments.  Players selected for these teams have the ability to move up and down rosters based on performance in practice and competitive play.

5. Current seniors in high school, college players, and anyone 18 years of age or older are invited to play in our 18+ Adult Men's League.

18 yrs old and over Pick Up Lacrosse League and Tournament teams:  We will have night games on Wednesday evenings in one centralized location under the lights (Manheim Township Turf fields on Weaver Road, these are not the HS fields.)  No tryout is needed, just register online. This format will allow for very competitive lacrosse without relying on players who cannot attend on certain evenings. Players will pick up lacrosse teams each evening (4-6 teams), and play two or three games that evening under the lights on the turf fields. 

*No residency requirements for this league. 

*We will also work to field an adult league All Star team(s) for a couple of Summer tournaments.
